THE ANTIQUE TOY CON by John Russo
Mystery author John Russo,
THE ANTIQUE TOY CON has given his reading fans a deliciously short, cleverly convoluted read that proves no matter how good a con -artist you are, there's always someone better at the con...and the worst that can happen, is you think you're so smart, you end up conning yourself.
In this short story there are moments when you sorta want to
cheer for the guy with the toys, especially when you learn his motivation...but it's hard.
John Russo creates the perfect circle of underhanded design and people with the creme of con-artists skills under their belts to play the game, and then watch them get taken.
I loved, loved, loved this book, and thought of a few people I'd like to see thrown into the circle John Russo created. But I digress.
THE ANTIQUE TOY CON
Five cunning stars I happily award this wickedly cunning short story, and send out a plea to Mr. Russo...
