Is it the Final Realm? If it isn't, what happens when you die and aren't really dead?
Why go there?
Some theosophical whiz kids call the place in-between, Purgatory. Is this the same place?
Kat Gallagher is thirteen. Life has already been unfair to her when it's cut rather dramatically short in 2007. (Since her actual expiration date is December 31, 2093, boy did she get cut off from the Land of the Living too soon!)
What does it mean? And why does her death certificate here within THE REALM OF THE LOST have no cause for death listed? IS she dead? It FEELS dead...but everyone else she encounters HAS the cause of THEIR deaths inscribed on the Cause of Death line on their death certificates.
THE REALM OF THE LOST, for Kat, is a journey through treachery, danger, confusion, sadness and more.
So if the missing cause on her death certificate is an oversight and she's really dead why is everyone trying to undermine her quest...also those she'll meet and have an impact on, if she's not dead, how will their future change if she gets to leave?
This is a short story that packs a lot of punch.
THE REALM OF THE LOST
Anything less would mock the intensity of the story
